How do you adjust tension on power steering belt on an 87 cadillac brougham? I cant find tension adjust.?

There are three bolts holding the pump, need to remove one, there is one in a slotted bracket, loosen it and move the pump to get the correct tension, tighten all bolts.

Sounds like you may not have done this before, get a shop to do it for you. To much tension and you can burn up the belt or the pump.

The power steering pump position it's self needs to be adjusted.
