Just "having" AVG, Spybot and Windows Defender on your machine doesn't necessarily protect you. When was the last time you updated them? When was the last time you ran scans with them?

(By the way, AVG and Windows Defender do the essentially same thing. You really need only one anti-virus package, in addition to one anti-spyware package (you have Spybot) and one anti-adware package (I suggest Ad-Aware SE))

If they don't seem to be able to get rid of everything they report finding, try running them again, this time in Safe Mode. Malware sometimes hangs onto its critical files so they can't be deleted by anti-virus/spyware/adware packages. Running in Safe Mode often prevents the malware from running and glomming onto the files.

Also, turn off System Restore to evict any copies of bad stuff that might be lurking there.

To get into Safe Mode:

1. Log out and reboot your machine.
2. When the machine starts the reboot sequence, press the F8 key repeatedly.
3. Select Safe Mode from the resulting menu.
4. The machine will continue booting, but the Windows desktop will look different. You won't be able to see the Internet, for instance. Log in as Administrator. Administrator often has no password.
5. When you're finished, log out and reboot back into normal mode.

Update and run both regularly, along with a good anti-virus package.

Good luck.

try msconfig. This is fully reversible, and you can't break your computer.

This will stop programs from automatically starting up with the startup menu.

go to start, run, type in "misconfig" (without the apostrophes), then when the program comes up, click on the last tab. Look for the program that might be causing the problems and uncheck all of the files associated with it.

Basically, I looked for program files that I didn;t recognize. Make sure that you don't uncheck required files, though.

This is a new virus my friend. This can only fixed by a tech working in your computer because it has some complicated virus files which cant be removed by any tool as on now from my experience. Just try the steps given by the other Pearson before. if nothing works you have to contact the tech to fix the problem.

If you cannot get into safe mode, things are getting quite desperate. You may need to reformat and reinstall. There are various online scans available, but it sounds like you have something fairly aggressive.
