Sounds like a clutch linkage adjustment is needed. If cable, then there is an end with an adjusting nut. If hydraulic [separate master cylinder under hood] there may be a pushrod adjustment at the slave cylinder. Hydraulics need the fluid [brake fluid] flushed regularly or they get mushy, it may be due. Hopefully you're not about to lose a clutch cylinder, but, if 1 does go bad, replace both slave & master together.

It could be any number of things. Make sure you check the clutch fluid to see if its low. If its not, it's probably something with the transmission. I had the same problem with my mazda pickup.

first get under the automobile and consider the oil point interior the transmission.. you're taking a plug out and purely placed the front of your finger in.. the point of the lube might desire to be approximately one quarter inch from the excellent of the plug... the subsequent is he throw out bearing.. if this wears then this boundaries the quantity of trip. so as a exchange of pushing the grab finger in 3 quarters of an inch ..it extremely is purely getting pushed one quarter.. if the oil point is okay.. i might advise paying for a instruction manual and taking your automobile aside.. and replace the throw out bearing and disk.. once you have it aside. if the flywheel isn't purely like the floor of a mirror it must be floor.. i say do it your self through fact it extremely is a activity that takes countless time. and a save ought to charge you a hefty cost.. plus double what the areas cost you.. dont be timitd.. in case you get caught you are able to ask on the information superhighway.. ok gilermo.
