A good few years for me .... While I thoroughly believe that every creature has as much a right to live as me, not if in order to live, they have to eat me.

When I was 12, my mom used to fair rake our hair with one of those metal nit combs every Sunday night and woe betide if she found one, she raked for hours till she found every last one.

About 8 years ago when I was living with a family and the mother just got fed up and cut her daughters hair which turned out a mess so my partner had to tidy it up before the kid went to school.

Even though I've taught a good number of kids with nits/lice, I never caught any! I used to scratch my head a lot when I knew there was someone in my class whoi was 'infested', though.
Things got worse once the nit nurse was banned!

I can't remember.
I lost my hair on the top of my head quite early in life
However my head has been used sometimes as a landing platform by mosquitos.

Six months ago. I caught them off a resident in respite. (and I wasn`t the only one!)

I don't think I ever have. We did have occasional outbreaks when I was at school but I managed to escape it .
