I hate it when people think they have to 'be better' to suit other people. What does 'be better' mean?
I'm sure that you are lovely just the way you are, but that you lack confidence or perhaps self esteem and are therefore thinking that you need to change in order to become more popular, attractive etc.
Confidence is attractive and is a feature that lots of popular people have (and note confidence is not the same as arrogance). Try to think about what your good points are - what do you like about yourself? If someone else was describing you, what nice things would they say about you? Concentrate on that and if you feel better about yourself and others will agree with you!
Also... don't talk about other people behind their back.

The worst thing in changing yourself is to become someone youre not and then youll hate yourself twice as much. The best thing you can be is to be yourself no matter what you hate about yourself. Make a list of things you hate about yourself and then decide what of those you can change and how to do it and then think on how to make your good points even better, but be yourself. Dont worry someone will love you for being exactly that person you think you hate someday

Princess, I dont know how old you are but allow me to save you from a great deal of unecessary anguish. You have to dig deep within yourself. Remember when mom and or dad taught you right from wrong? As long as you can feel comfortable knowing that you are doing the best that you can, accept that you are who you are and that you attract people that are supposed to be around you. Do not focus on what others think, just be you!, love you! and everyone that is supposed to be in your "cirlce" will! and those who are not supposed to share your circle, will not. Be You! its much easier that way!

Being able to confont all aspects of yourself. That kind of honesty takes a lot of courage. When you acchieve this you are able to actually understand other peoples' perspectives. This allows for you to make connections with people from all walks of life. Also, who doesn't want a genuine person to love? :) Best of luck to you.

You should first write down your personality, like the good and bad things about yourself. I personally hate stuck-up people who think they're the only most important person in the world. Also people who does anything to get what they want. Like sabatoge, backstabbing, lying to friends...?

When you are ready to change it is always better to focus on something positive.
I admire honesty. People who have the courage to be honest with themselves and those around them. People like this have the courage to be themselves, to share their gifts, and admit their flaws. This level of honesty in life exudes confidence and makes you live in integrity. People are always attracted to people like this because they trust them and know where they stand.
Look to be the best you can be and you will find peace all around.

I really don't hate people, but things I find annoying are: negative attitudes or people who feel sorry for themselves but do nothing to make things better; uneducated people who act like they know things they have never studied; and shallow people who think only of possessions.

it's really not up to us, hun. and you might not even have the flaws we mention. but what you can do, is better yourself. not necessarily change yourself! you can think about what makes you a better person. it's really not a good idea to do this though. you might just want to think about having a more positive attitude, a bigger confidence, and some new friends that wont really care about little flaws.
BE YOURSELF, AND BE TRUE :]

Be more intelligent. For example. asking stupid questions on Yahoo Answers is not an example of high intellect.
