I think so. Bush is no longer listening to Cheney and Rove. I guess Bush's new circle is Robert Gates, Condi Rice, Gen. Petraeus, and Josh Bolten.

Ultimate control was probably never with Cheney.

Rumor is that Cheney is getting ready to resign so that the favored candidate for 2008 can take his place.

Those holding the strings will remain out of sight.

If you knew ANYTHING about Politics, you would know that Bush is his own man.

He Never runs around whining about what to do, like Bill Clinton.
If Clinton hadn't had Hillary to boss him around, he would have crawled under a bed and cried.

no because he never had any..bush is a capable and perfectly able president to do as he sees is right and without the baggage and character issues of the clintons.
