The body does that sometimes.
It can be a reaction to fear, shock, being startle, usual emotions, fever and so on; not just feeling cold.
I do not think that it is anything threatening. But if it got bad, you could have a word with the doctor.
I have had this happen a couple of times.
For some reason that I cannot understand, I get them if I see something that wierd's me out.

When I get chills, it's cold , I'm coming down with something or Deja Vu has visited me.
I step back & survey my surroundings to determine what caused the feeling of cold.

No, there is always a reason, whether visible or not. Sometimes it`s a just a feeling, but it has to come from somewhere!
