I won the best halloween costume as an old chubby granny. I had glasses a big toosh and a walker!!! lol My halloween bag was my purse. I colored my hair snow white and made it in a bun.

how about body parts. Each kid can be a different body part. The tallest kid will be the body. Another an arm, legs etc etc. When they knock on a door they all come together to form the monster then they separate.
A lame one would be to all dress as a sport team uniform. Not too inventive though. Plus you don't want like 7 male kids dress in football garments and only one girl cheerleader because it will just look bad.

I am doing rockstar and paparazzi/press! I'm the rockstar, and then they take pics of me and all that! :D lol i had another idea, but my friends mom didnt allow it, its 2 go as the four skanks, britney, lilo, nicole, and paris! u can use that, like brit could be bald, and have baby dolls everywhere lol idk!
