It has mainly to do with the fact that they were put into office based on the lies they told stating that tey were going to do certain things regardless of what anyone else thought.

They made those promises knowing full well that they couldnt deliver on them. The people that voted for them are now realizing that they were being told exactly what they wanted to hear by the democrats.

Additonally, the democrats since they gained power. Haven't really done anything but spread doom and gloom. That's not why they were elected either.

The democrats are also trying to ram through amnesty for illegal aliens. They should realize that over 70% of the people in this country are opposed to that.

What did you expect? They made their promises and what have they done? The only thing they've done thus far is to raise minimum wage -- and suddenly, the bottom is falling out of the real estate market. To hear the supporters of those libtards, the bottom is falling out of the market altogether. They promised to get us out of the war they voted to get us into. Almost a year later and still fighting. Hmmm. Could it be they're the ones profiteering? Or, is there a greater cncern for what will most likely happen should we pull out prematurely? Still, they haven't put two and two together. For one thing they ran on a platform of criticism, a vague sense of reform, a "we're not them" strategy. Once Americans realized that the Democrats are at least as depraved as the Republicans who got caught in scandals, they were unimpressed. Also, Americans are disgusted by people like Harry Reid who lack confidence in America, and put their own political interests above the nation. It's hard to approve of someone who roots for the US to lose in a conflict and prays for the demoralization of our soldiers, and the libs have become quite bold about that.

And let's not forget the alternate sources of news available to all people now. We no longer have to rely on the force-feeding from ABC/CBS/NBC when we want to know what's going on in our country and around the world.

Let's keep in mind Republicans are in that Congress as well. But I agree. The reason is because the Dems have not been able to advance their agenda. Of the six bills they said they would pass in their first 100 days of power they have gotten one through and that was on minium wage. Huge achievement. The main thing, though, is that they keep saying the war is lost in Iraq but make no major moves to withdraw our troops. Americans can at least sport hypocracy and they are.
