Have a "toga party" theme.

To decorate:
Decorate primarily in white and gold.
Lots of foliage, artificial fruits (especially grapes), fake columns.
Throw pillows and huge pillows on the floor covered with sheets in purple or gold.

How to make and tie a toga:
Contrary to popular opinion, sheets are not the best option mainly because they are more expensive than using a good quality piece of material.

Buy or find 4 or 5 yards of a good quality piece of material not necessarily white (see pics below), it takes about three feet to go around your waist, and you need to wrap it at least 1.5 times around your waist before you throw the remainder over your shoulder (either shoulder). Then bring the fabric back to the waist, and tie it up or wrap it some more.

Tie a toga: MALE
Around the waist at least once
Pin it at that point
Throw the rest over one shoulder
Around the back
Pin it again at the waist.
Wear shorts underneath
Wear sandals, thongs

Tie a toga: FEMALE
Add to the basic wrap design small horizontal bands (leather, chain) accentuating waist and bust line.

Food ideas:
Cheese plates
Sliced meat rolls such as ham and turkey
Cocktail onions, pickles, olives
Salty treats, such as potato chips and pretzels and nuts

Drink ideas:
To go along with the Greek theme, Ouzo is an obvious choice.
Here are some other ideas -
-Easy ouzo highball is an ounce of ouzo in a highball glass (or plastic cup!) filled with ice and tonic water and a squeeze of lime.
-Sangria
-Anything with lemon or mint

If money is no object, I would take a select group of friends on a private jet to Vegas. We would stay at the Palms and go to the Playboy Club. From there we would go downstairs to Hart and Huntington Tattoo Company and get tattoos. Unless you are already in Vegas, then I would fly everyone to the south of France.

If it's not raining, then you should have a BBQ. Invite all you friends and play some games. YOu should convcince your friends to wear yellow or red for mustard and ketchup. You should eat BBQ (duh!) and for your deco for your yard, or like a park (sorry i expected you to have a house, you're still in college?) you should stick banners everywhere that says your name and the invite people(you can get those at party city) and for your papers and plates, you should have them be your favorite color and that goes with napkins, and you can give your guests something like i dunno give them something intresting. Happy birthday!
