Yes - and when friends die!

It's a sobering thought I must admit. But it's the way someone younger than me dies that concerns me. I don't mean getting run over by a car or getting shot by a jealous husband. I mean dying of cancer, heart attack, aneurysm, stroke, etc. at a much younger age. When is it going to be my time? What can I do to prevent or postpone such maladies. Don't be scared because you still have control of the way you live.

It certainly does, its a bit like being on a conveyor belt, and the damned thing is going faster and faster...... and having recently lost two of my oldest and best friends to cancer, its made me take another look at my situation, I am above ground, warm and still breathing, and when I find my self moaning about something bloody stupid like one does, I know think of them, and it certainly puts things into perspective! As they say, this is no dress rehearsal - enjoy!

Hi Elric!!!

What you describe is not really fear of loss of life, or suddendly aging . Is my understanding, you are describing simply, that one actually dwells in our own life's and the way one live's it.

By going trhough the experience of someone dying and facing the mystery of the unknown........DEATH !!!!

At this point one doesn't really feel "FEAR" but, the reality of maturity at is best!! One's life pass by like a movie in our minds. And we encounter the truth, of the time wasted, the warm company of love ones, ones favorite food or drink.

And just for a short time in our life's we pause, and see what really matters, and what not! One thinks about how to better a situation, or oneself, finish that unfinished proyect or seriously decide to have quality time with fa. and freinds.

It is not "FEAR" what one feels, is the actual growing into maturity, and finally understanding what is really important in our life's.

So that's why death is a direct part of life!!! Because it urge's one to live "LIFE" to the fullest, happier, safe, and loving unconditionally and passionately, everything we have, everything we do and the people we know.

We see the colors brighter, laugh more often, forgive easier and faster. Death doesn't close our path in life it opens a differrent dimension, for the one that losses life as well as for those that stay ALIVE!!!

Because then one knows that one day it all can be lost at the same time we gain!!!

So "DON'T BE AFRAID OF DEATH AS DEATH IS THE BEGGINING OF A DIFFERENT LIFE"!!!! ENJOY IT!!!

GOD BLESS YOU ALL;
A.Z.

Yes it does. Even someone your age or a bit older too. You tend to think of things you've done or haven't, and start to wonder where has the time gone. Try to stay positive.

no; because one day we all would die and death when it comes it doesn't matter the aged it happens to each of us babies small kids children and adult we don't have any escape when our time comes it will happen yes it's very sad behind human understanding .. so i don't feel any older when some one younger that me die and the age don't have to do with it as i said i ia'm not afraid of diying .i willl like to die a peaceful death.. surrouded by my family and friends... this is not very easy to talk about ia', still dealing with the death of my baby sister sara; my niece yolanda my brother in law verlin, and the rest of my love ones and friends, that have pass on before me big and small young and old. so you see death is for all people so what we do while we are still here in the LAND of the living , is to live a decent life. show love for one another; forgive one another help and share with others .that have less, called some one at a nursery home ,go to the hospital and visit some sick people. especialy kids; do some volunter work in your community. we can make , this world a better place to live in if we just realy appreciated each other and just tell people you love them and be sincere and do some good deads for who==ever need you while they are still alive and don't wait until when death come knocking at they door to show some mercy to our fellow man/ women. so we most remember our creator; fear GOD and enjoy life; lerned wisdom and knowledge so we may use them inthe proper moment and time, i have seen all of the in- justice done to other people because of their belief race sex ethnical back ground. and life style. ;;;Go ,eat your bread with joy and drink your wine with a merry heart; for god has already accepted your works, let yourr garments always be white, and let your head lack no oil. live joyfull with the wife/ husband whom you love all the days of your vain life which he has given you under the sun, all your days of vanity; for that is your potion in life and in the laor wich you perform under the sun. W'hatever your hand finds to do,do it with your might, for there is no work or device or knowledge or wisdom in the gr ave where we are going. for a man also does not know his time; but time and chance happen to them all,, so rejoice in your youth and let your heart cheer remove sorrow from your heart and put away evil from your flesh remember your creator fear god and keep his commandments. for this is man's all.;;;;;; peace be with you. take care love joyce

Yes. Also, when I meet someone I havent seen for a while, and I secretly think to myself "She looks old!" Then I remember that we are the same age, and it dawns on me that other people must be looking at me and thinking the same thing.

Yes. I am a nurse & have experienced people younger than me dying since I was 18. It is very depressing.
Don't be afraid Elric we will all be there with you.

yes we all think that we are immortal , i think the saddest thing about death is not when we will die but how we will die , in a perfect world i would like to go to sleep on a warm sunny day and quietly slip away
