5 months isn't a reason for a gift. Maybe if you hit 6.
Watch out around Christmas, when I was dating girls, I would break up with them after Thanksgiving to keep from having to pony up money for Christmas.
And if we got back together, it would be either right before Valentines or not at all.
I chose Valentine, because it was the best time to ask/beg/crawl for forgiveness and get by with an inexpensive box of candy as a gift.

nothing. celebrate your 6 month, then 1 yr, 2 yr, don't have excessive anniversaries, it gets redundant and guys aren't into it like girls are.
