Mine is Pachelbel's "Canon". It sends shivers down my spine
whenever I hear it .... so beautiful to listen to.

I also find Holtz's "Jupiter" very moving.

And you ?

Oh my gosh I LOVE Pachelbel's Canon in D too! It's so beautiful and it's such a graceful song. I also love "All of Me" by Jon Schmidt. He's more of a modern composer.

I don't want to sound like a snob, but "classical" music referers to a specific period, style and composer. Most of the answers cite "Romantic" composers or so-called "programme music".
My favourite classical piece is Bach's Toccata and Fugue in D minor. Of the romantics I like Saint-Saens' Third Symphony.

I've always liked the Dance of the Reed Flutes from the Nutcracker Suite by Tchaikovsky.
Morning from Peer Gynt by Grieg is another good one. The Hall of the Mountain King from Peer Gynt as well is also very good.

Yes, I simply love Holst's Jupitur, as well as his entire Planet Suite. But Jupitur is my favourite of the lot.
I also enjoy Holst's Military March 2 (I believe it's number 2).

I like Elgar's Cello Concerto, but it must be the version played by the late Jaqueline Du Prez. Also The Arrival of the Queen of Sheba by Handel which i went up the aisle to at my wedding! and since childhood i have love Haydn's Surprise Symphony because i loved the story of him put the loud bit in the middle because he got fed up of people going to sleep and he wanted to give them a surprise!!
