Yay! We need more people like you to switch to Firefox. Firefox is faster, safer and better, and easier to use than Microsoft's Internet Explorer. I like the nice tabs, 3D, and much better than Internet Explorer's interface. You can manage your bookmarks, passwords, and cookies with Firefox. You can add plugins, such as AdBlock Plus which gets rid of nearly every ad on the web! Other plugins include Flash, Java, and even toolbars such as the Google or Yahoo Toolbars, and many dictionaries for the built-in spell check. You can also change themes to your desire. I really like Firefox. Only slight problems with it might be that not all websites have yet been updated to support Firefox. Another is that Firefox does not work very well with dial-up connections, but hey, most of the world is upgrading to broadband, cable,DSL, and other High-speed internet so that is not a biggy.
I hope you definitely do switch to Firefox.
Happy Browsing!

Firefox doesnt work well with some Microsoft web features. This maybe viewed as a "bad" thing in many different ways but the bottom line is if Microsoft published content they dont want firefox users to experience in full form, they can.
At this momment in time IE7 has all the features of firefox, this was not true for IE6 which made Firefox the better browser at that time.
Basically, the only reason to move to Firefox at this momment in history is to make a statement, no other reason.

There used to be compatibility issues with some sites, but in it's new 2.0 version (or 2.2 or whatever it is now) it is fully compatible with all websites.
Internet Explorer is a slicker browser these days, but it still isn't as good as Firefox or as easy to use.
Essential add-ons for Firefox:
Adblock Plus - it's a more powerful version of Adblock; don't forget to turn it off if it seems like some content of a page is missing! That's it's only drawback, but it wipes out about 95% of annoying ads and banners automatically.
Themes - I like Macfox Graphite because it gives it a nice clean look.
Foxmarks - back up your bookmarks and be able to access them from any computer.
Also, click on View > Toolbars > Customize, and drag the "Open a new tab" icon onto the Toolbar. you can then open a new tab with a single click.
To get maximum screen size, on "View" I disable Status Bar, Bookmarks Toolbar, and the Google Toolbar.
I couldn't go back to using Internet Explorer, Firefox is much nicer to use.

I am fairly happy with Firefox. However, as of late there is a problem with bookmarks disappearing. I have had this happen 3 times in the last couple of months and their website says they are working on a fix for that -- tons of complaints have been logged.
Other than that bug, its reliable and stable. There are some site that still are not compatible, but only a handful of sites. No plans of switching back to IE any time soon.

Firefox is easily sturdy! i've got been utilizing Firefox and this is already loading lots quicker with Vista than IE. I definitely have not tried out lots of the different helpful factors however the adaptation in velocity is an asset in itself.

I'm quite satisfied with Firefox. It's the best browser I've ever used. I only had a problem with it once in installing one of my studying programs which was nothing important to me.
