Yeah that is tacky. Go to the dollar store and buy some address books and cute pens and stuff. That would be cheaper and that is what people expect for prizes at showers.

no offense but that is really cheapo of you. Your a grown women and have money and your going 2 give out burned cds? I did that for my 9th birthday! you shouldn't get something expensive but not cheap either. The prizes should be books that everyone enjoys or frames for their photos. There're plenty more than burned cds!

If it is copies of cd's you have then it is cheap and cheesy.

No because if yoa re on the budget than that smart way to save money that way to give the burn CD as a prize. do not forge to play the CD to make sure it work incase you need to reburn the CD. go for it

I have a couple of favorite lullaby cassette tapes that are no longer available anywhere. If I were pregnant, and the guests were moms, I'd love to put together songs and such and help those moms get their kids off to lullaby land faster and easier.

I think it depends on your audience. You know their personalities, so give them what you think they would enjoy. Your prizes don't have to be baby shower related.

It could be cute, but if your guests are from wildly different backgrounds, I'd make sure the songs reflect that range. It can all be stuff *you* love, but maybe not all R&B, or all punk, or all polka. If you plan to mix it up, people will probably be tickled to get them.
