I'm looking for a place to buy silk screening supplies. At the very least i need somewhere to buy mesh. I don't want some local art store answer. A store chain (that is on the east side) would be really appreciated. Some one said that walmart has screens, but i've yet to check it out.
Also, what is the best mesh count for making tee shirts?

The best place to find silk screening supplies is at:

I have never seen screens at the small offerings in the craft section of Walmart.

you need a silk screen, stretched like a painting canvas. and an ink spreader. you paint the negative of what you want on the screen and force the ink through the voids onto the cloth or paper with the spreader gimmick

I agree with Pat C. DickBlick has the best prices and inventory anywhere. Sign on to their on-line catalogue and foam at the mouth. WWw.dickblick.com
