I have often seen a textbook on ebay titled "Calculus and Analytic Geometry" and was wondering what level of calculus would that book be assigned to. In other words, is it calculus 3 or 4 or what?

I took that at a Junior college and it was used for Calculus and Analytic Geometry I, II and III. I was unofficially told Calculus and Analytic Geometry I verifies you understand Algebra, Calculus and Analytic Geometry II verifies you understand Trigonometry and Calculus and Analytic Geometry III you take to enjoy Calculus.

Calculus and Analytic Geometry are related.

I have several "Calculus and Analytical Geometry" books that were used in a three semester course, or only two semesters for "honors calculus."

3 semesters is about 4 terms, depending on how your school divides the year.

I used a book like that for Calculus 1 and 2. We didn't get through the entire book so I'm sure it probably could be used for calculus 3 also.
