It appears to me in politics and government that there are many here who don't realy have anything to say or they can't arguew with the question or statement. Why then do they give spelling lessons or is it maybe they just want the 2 points so they can move to the next level.

I may be a bit new here but i can at least give an answer with out grammer lesson. I imagine those that have the best grammer most likely can't spell either they just use spell check.

Is this a ture or false obsevation/opinion

Well if someone has good spelling, grammar and punctuation then I accept they may be using spell check but at the same time I hope it's because they genuinely do. If someone spells well and has good grammar and punctuation then people can't help but have greater respect for them. Why shouldn't someone make the effort to type out words in full and spell properly? Why the proliferation of text talk such as "ur", "m8" "sumfing" etc? I sometimes get the impression it carries over into day to day living as well and not just posting messages on message boards. Is education frowned upon in certain circles or what?

OK, someone may be dyslexic in which case they should receive and get whatever help they need for what is a genuine condition but at the same time I feel that the refrain "but they may be dyslexic" is an easy excuse for bad spelling. Somehow, I feel that it doesn't apply to all bad spellers everywhere and that it's something that can be hidden behind unfortunately.

You don't seem to be getting the answers you want to posts, but rather are getting "lessons." While I haven't seen the specific posts about which you complain, there are likely several causes.
First, spelling and grammar are simply conventions we follow to make reading the message easier. If someone has to work really hard just to make sense of your question, they may become so involved with the process of deciphering the question that they make the corrections and lose track of the question being asked.
Another possible reason is that they actually think you need help, and are attempting to provide you feedback on how to ask a question so that the question is clear.
A third possibility is that the reader finds your spelling and grammar so distracting that they feel the answer to the question less relevant than insulting your abilities. It would depend.
Your choices now seem to be (1) to learn and improve so that your message isn't lost in the scrambled medium represented by misspellings and garbled grammar, (2) to put up with the answers that do not address your question as you continue to post garbled communications, or (3) stop posting. I for one hope you chose the first option: learn, grow, and communicate effectively.

Simple: they want to be portrayed as educated people and most of them just look for fuel in order to start a fight...and what better way then to point fun of someones spelling (its actually typing errors more than spelling).
Personally I could not give 2 hoots whether a person spelled something wrong or made grammar errors.
I just look at the answers, why would I want to have one up on anyone else?
But so many seem to love the superiority of pointing out the mistakes...I think its funny because I smile every time someone does it...shows their desperation for attention!

The people who take the time to offer a serious answer to your question have the best of intentions. The reason they correct your spelling and grammar is that they know from experience that if you use "loose" for "lose" or write "it's" when you mean "its," you might as well flush your college degree down the toilet. The first, sometimes the only, representation we make of ourselves is often in writing, and misspellings and grammatical solecisms cause the reader to disregard whatever you have to say, however cogent your arguments may be. There is absolutely nothing wrong with a spell checker; in fact, it's one of the great inventions of the computer age. Many people will regard someone who doesn't use it as lazy and/or careless. Don't fall into that category. And feel free to keep the two points...

I have seen some questions, on here, where the spelling and grammar was so bad, that it was impossible to know what point the asker was actually making.

Really bad spelling and grammar is an indication of a poor education (not always, but often). This may also go hand-in-hand with naivity and gullibility.
In some cases, the asker is so naive - and their question is so full of flaws, it is pointless answering

It is symptomatic of the times that people get on and rant away about something, expect to be taken seriously, but can't be bothered to use the spell check. And you are a case in point. There were needless spelling errors in your question - which would have been picked up by a simple keystroke.
Is this a good answer or is it a spelling lesson? I'll leave that to you to decide.

I think it's fine to give an observation about what's wrong with spelling, though most people simply use that and then don't argue against the point itself. That's where the problem lies, and yes its sad, but not as sad as some of the arguments I've seen people give against the actual question. You're new, so you haven't seen most of it yet. You will.

You may be right, but that does not excuse people for there spelling or grammer. This is how we relay our thoughts to each other. If we don't understand the question we can not give a good answer.

Here is my opinion: those that like to lash out and stereotype and call members of certain political parties "stupid", or "illiterate", or whatever, have no business doing so when they can't stand on their own two feet when it comes to spelling.

If someone asks a legitimate question, that obviously isn't biased against a group of people, I overlook spelling.

When someone goes the route that I pointed out...

...well, in my opinion, any "spelling lessons" returned to them are well deserved acts!

Peace.

Many right here provide solid solutions. you're saying, "in case you aspects a solid answer "without grammar lesson" ( "arguew" "ture"). yet your solutions ought to be properly spelt otherwise all and sundry can no longer appreciate you and warfare, like I did right here. there's a "superb your spelling" facility on the facet which all and sundry can use if spelling isn't their solid element.
