howcome when I put in the adaptar plug that connetcs an mp3 to the computer, it makes the keyboard and mouse not work? how can I help to not make it do that?

check whether you have installed the mp3 player (device/hardware)drivers properly.. but i think it will be better if u can re-install the operating system.. you mite be having virus.. I would format the machine and check.. hope dis will wrk

keyboard and mouse treiber are not loaded yet, re-start you computer and go to windows update site and make Automatic treiber check
