I can't imagine something like that happening.

Well, I was brought up a Christian and slowly over time from the age of about 12 - 15 I realised that I was an atheist. This isnt the forum to discuss my reasons why...
But it was a gradual process which I actually found to be very liberating. The best part was when I realised that you could be good from morality not fear, it was empowering.
Dont think of it as you losing something, think of it as you gaining something. You must have made a realisation, you must have discovered something, you must have found your strength from within yourself... see the positive side.

I highly suggest asking this question in the faith and spirituality section where it would be more acceptable to discuss these things. This isnt the place for a debate or to really delve into pros and cons of religion.

Grab your azz and hold on tight cause it is going to be a rough ride without some faith. Chill a while, somethin will come back to you. Chill man.

Create a new one - it's like the scientific theory in that regard (but only that regard)

Be disappointed for awhile and then find something else to believe in. It's as simple as that.

It hasn't, so I guess I'd tell you to choose one that has a better foundation this time around.
