Install a good Anti spyware/anti virus and run full scan.

Uninstall all unwanted programs.

If same problems persists, then increase your RAM size.

I've got 456 dde, pent 7, 450 gig and I tell a lot of lies and don't know what the hell I am rabbiting about.

Get 1 gig stick, normally on sale for like 64 buck.

mine came with the 512 or whatever it is; I've put inTWO GIG of memory, and the dawg still drags and locks up. I'm told that no matter how much memory there is, all the junk I'm running at the same time is what causes it.

More RAM is always a good idea to speed up your PC but I would check for viruses and spyware first. It is normally these things that slow a computer down.
