One day your fine, then you hear something else and the next day your not?

Oh yeah..Definately..Ashamed to say but it actually made me suicidal for a while...Took me a LONG time to crawl out of that hole, and no one ever knew.

I've gone through that for years in my relationship with my Dad, it's been a long hard process but he's made a lot of progress and the pain comes less and less, with more time in between!! If it's somebody other than my family causing that kind of pain, they are out of my life but my relationship with my father is worth fighting to fix!! Good Luck

Yes and I didn't even know that I was being hurt until I let that person out of my life the pain that was left behind has reached my soul and turned my whole world inside out.

what you need to do is confront that person and have it out and set urself free. Doing nothing only makes the pain stay around longer.

Yes. In fact, right now I feel it. I can't please my parents in any way enough, I really just don't know what to do. I wish I could just take my pain and throw it in the trash.

No.
I live by the old adage, "Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me."
If you let someone hurt you repeatedly then shame on you.
