Ferriday Louisiana is the town of his birth. He is now 77 years old. Married his 13 year old third cousin. A move which wrecked his career. It didnt go down well in England and the States when it became widely known.
Was one of the first whites to really go with Rock n Roll.
Probably sitting on a porch out in the Bayou. Sad?
