I am so annoyed with people constantly saying "I hate life! My family don't care! I have no friends! Bla Bla Bla!"
So you think your family don't care about you? Have you been kicked out of your house? Are you being starved? No? Then they care!
You have no friends? Does everyone you ever meet despise you? Do you go to a cafe in a random place and the waitress/waitor despises you? Are they nice to you? Yes? Then you have friends.
Would you rather be in a hole in Iraq, waiting for your time to be bombed or shot down? Constantly living in fear?
Would you rather be a mother knowing your son is dead? Knowing that all the time you and him have shared is all gone?
Then you shouldn't hate life. You're lucky.

What do you think?

I don't really disagree with your observations. And especially that people should be more appreciative of the things that they have. But allowing this reality of people's basic nature to annoy you is only putting more negative energy into the world. Maybe turn your question around on yourself. Instead of being annoyed by people's attitude, be thankful that you don't feel that way. And work on putting positive energy into the world. All the best to you.

I do not think MY life sucks, not by a longshot. But I do think life in general sucks, because there is so much suffering and killing and hatred in the world. Life is completely unfair and some people are born into a horrible life of poverty and illness, and for that reason, life sucks beyond all reasoning. But mine does not suck, and I feel lucky I was born into a loving family.

Life is very stressful. People can't feel the pain of other people and so instead of appreciating what they have, they tend to concentrate on their own problems. I completely agree with you and try at least once every day to concentrate on the good things in my life. But please, be tolerant of these people. We can't know what's in another's heart and mind and sometimes a little sympathy goes a long way.

Is the glass half empty or half full? Those who are upset with life tend to focus only on the negative things going on around them... Unfortunately, it's human nature to do that. We have to make a conscious effort to see the positive things in our Life.
