Mine did! One of my great, great, great (etc) whatevers on my father's side came over here as a cabin boy.

Some of them did. Jamestown was such a long time ago, 400 years, that probably few of yours came from Jamestown. At least 3 of the Mayflower passengers were my ancestors; other ancestors settled in Germantown, PA; Germanna, VA; and all over New England. Most of them, I have no clue.

Mine didn't come to the United States until around 1924. During that period in history, the time of the Plymouth Colony, they were citizens of the Republic of Venice.
