I get into the character and voice of that character. I want to be a part of that entire story.

Kinda hard to say. I think when reading about things, like someone describing scenery, or how someone looks, I read in my voice. But when characters speak, I sort of imagine how the character would sound.

When I read a book, it's like a movie in my mind. Sometimes that makes movies from books a little disappointing if the characters aren't like what I had in my mind.

I try to think as what the person I'm reading about at the time would sound like and for the most part it makes the experience better but at the same time slows my reading by just a little .

I try to generate voices for each character. However i find it a little hard wen its in my head. If i were to use really significant voices for each i would have to read out loud.

I use character voices in my head. The easiest and funnest books I have ever read were by Dr. Phil...it was like he was reading them to me.

In order for enjoy enjoy and understand a character, I have to become that character when I read.

I almost never read out loud but I do tend to get into character even in my head.

Both. Some books don't need a special voice. Most children's books do.
