This of course is an impossible scenario - neither china nor russia could get past the US Navy and US Air Force, let alone occupy a country where the average citizen owns 1.3 guns -but what if?

Could America count on Canada....or anyother country for that matter, to come to our aid?

it would depend on WHY the US is getting invaded, but we would most likely side with you guys.

we are neighbors, after all.

First off the un-average Citizen here owns 3 weapons. Americans buy over 50% of the all firearms made, world-wide, every year. (I like that ). Canada help us? Probably , because it would help save their own butt too. The UK also. China would be the worst, as it could parachute in kazillions of ground opns troops. I hope we'd "have the guts" to use nukes and/or biologics. hell, I'd do biologics Now, in a 1st strike, very quietly though. Hopefully knock them down by a billion +-. Why we help our enemies is beyond me.

Impossible? I don't think so...the Japanese did it in WWII, remember? The Battle of the Aleutian Islands was a struggle over the Aleutian Islands, part of Alaska, in the Pacific campaign of World War II. A small Japanese force occupied the islands of Attu and Kiska.
But, for your question: I would say - yes. The Canadians have troops in Iraq supporting our effort there. And the English would help as well, I think.

well the next feud will probably be over the northern passage which has opened up because of rising temperatures up there!!!

and the soviet union has already sent a submarine up there to claim it for there country!!!

everyone figures there may be a fortune in undiscovered resources up there!!!

so there is going to be some political feuding going on, but it will be with negotiations, not war, hopefully!!!!

thank GOD bush has lost all his credibility,or WW III would probably be comin soon!!!

no-one is concerned about the environmental effects!!!

plus it will shorten the path for shipping which is another windfall, this might be some tough negotiations!!

hope bush is outta there by then!!!

Canada supports just causes, so yes (see our involvement in Afghanistan but not Iraq). Canada declared war on Nazi Germany whilst Roosavelt was still deliberating.

It is not as improbable as you suggest that the U.S. could ever be invaded. In military war gaming the U.S. frequently loses to the likes of Australia and Israel. The U.S. only beat serious opposition when they bomb civillians or join in after the Russians have broken down the opposition (i.e. Europe in both World Wars).

Um, yes? It's a very odd question, and it's extremely speculative, but I would think that every western nation would come to our aid once they actually see that it's a necessity for their own safety.

Nope. In fact Canada might be behind the invasion.

The real object of the invasion would be Texas...j/k

Canada doesn't have a military, they rely on us. Israel is the only other country that has a tough enough military to do anything if one of those countries got past our military and they have their own problems.
