Women argue that there are a shortage of female role models and people often learn leadership styles from observing other people but there are few female exectutives to observe.
They argue that females can watch male leaders but men cannot illustrate how to navigate female stereotypes.
Also, they say that women have two problems. They cannot assert themselves forcefully or they will not be perceived as feminine enough and if they act to feminine aren't seen as strong leaders. They don't want to ask for advice because they will seem unsure of themselves.
Do you agree with these notions? Are women being marginalized?
