When he does, about how many hours is he gone at a time?

monthly basis, I'd say alot. It's easier for me to break it down to weekly.
On Monday ams for about 4-5 hours.
Tuesday is his day of rest with me.
Wednesday afternoon-early eve about 4-7 hours.
Thursday am - afternoon about 7-9 hours.
Friday and Saturday with me.
Sunday am for about 4-5 hours.
My man is semi retired now and I just see his visiting friends as sort of taking the place of what he used to spend at work. When he worked he was gone every weekend for a few hours here and a few hours there. He doesn't usually go to any bars with his friends and if he does go it is just to pick up a drunk friend and take him home.
Just as often as he goes to hang out with his friends, they come to our home to hang out too.
I don't believe I have ever had an issue of it. I get my time with him and I am satisfied. I'm not the needy clingy type and I guess that makes a difference.

I'm a guy,
My wife and I agreed that we both need to get out from time to time without each other.
We do not keep track of it, we both make sure that things around the home are done, dishes, clothes, you name it.
I take off a few times during a month for several hours, depends on what I get to do. If its fishing don't plan on seeing me until its dark out. Monday night football, midnight.
We do not call each other on the cell phones while we are gone, and we do not give one another a hard time when returning.
Gives us things to talk about during the week.

I'm a guy, and I usually hang out every other Friday about 4 or 5 hours. It has nothing to do with her, I just want to get out from time to time.

Every single day. It is getting worse and worse. It is sometimes with the guys and sometimes going to bars

Everyday, but for 30 minutes or so...not a big deal for me.

My husband "hangs" with me and only me and our beautiful 10 year old daughter.
He would not have it any other way :)

Mine doesn't. We stay home and are happy that way.
