I would make an apt. with your doc. & get checked-out.
It is your hormones & you will probably will get treated with hormones (the Pill) to help regulate your cycle.
Sometimes it takes a while for your cycles to regulate themselves, check in with your females relatives (mom, sister or aunt) & find out what normal is for your family. :)

So many issues can effect your period, the intensity of the period or the duration of the period. Stress, for example, is a major issue when it comes to women's health. Being under extreme stress can cause you to miss periods or sometimes have more than one per month. Other factors include infections, excessive weight gain or loss, dietary issues, pregnancy or child birth or sometimes for no reason at all a women will have abnormal menstrual cycles. I would suggest speaking to a physician. This could be a sign of something else wrong. It's always better to talk to someone about all of your concerns and provide that physician with all the information you can so that they can provide you the best options of treatment.

Good Luck.

You should take to your doctor. They might suggest putting you on birth control to regulate your cycle.

Good luck!
