I am having alot of trouble with these sentences and was wondering if I am correct on the following sentences.
1. My old classmates are all here at the reunion.
2. The inexpensive telephone broke yet again.
3. For purely selfish purposes, here is my amended wish list.
4. For your information, here come the directives from head office.
5. Over the violins came the shrill sound of the flutes.
6. There had been a delay of several weeks.
my answers for these are as follows.
1. Subject- my, Verb- are all
2. S-telephone, V- broke
3. S-list, V- is my
4. S- your, V- directives
5. S- Flutes, V-?
6. S-There, V- delay
Can someone be kind enough to help me with these sentences. I know there are quite a few but I am soooooo lost.
