This is my 2nd month charting and tracking ovulation. I'm only on cd 14 for this cyle. Last cycle I ovulated day 16.
Have you ladies always ovulated on the same day or does it vary? If it varies, by how many days?
Thanks!

Yes, I'm using OPK but just curious if I'd ovulate the same day each month. I do know that luteal phase stays the same but what about ovulation?

I'm pretty sure you can ovulate anytime between day 14 and 16 of your cycle. I remember when I went to a fertility specialist to get pregnant, and we did the charting and all that too. "what a head ache" Can you believe the specialist said the reason we werent conceiving was due to my husbands high number of abnormal sperm and that the only way we would ever get pregnant would be to do in vitro.. well, we decided to take it easy, continue trying on our own and see what happens. we concieved the following month! They just wanted our money. Anyway, Since the exact time of ovulation may vary, the most important thing to do is make sure you have intercourse on day 12, 14, 15, and 16. that way no matter what time your egg actually dropped and is sitting there ready to be fertilized, the sperm will already be there to do its job.. just make sure you dont overdo it (literally, lol) like the week before and have too much intercourse, because then the quality of the sperm decreases. Average/good sperm should be able to last in you for at least 3-5 days. which is why if you have intercourse on say, day 12, and you ovulate on day 14, the liklihood of you conceiving is high. But if you have intercourse alot, say, on day 10, 11, 12, 14, 15, 16.. then the sperm wont be too great, wont last as long, be as potent.. and the chances of conceiving lessens. So just dont have intercourse on like day 9,10, or 11 ( and dont let you significant other "pleaseure himself" either!) give that sperm a chance to rebuild/gain strength and then really start trying day 12. Its weird. You would think the more you have sex around the time you ovulate, the more chance you'd have of getting pregnant.. but no, you actually have to plan it, which takes away the romance, and intimacy of the whole act, but oh well.. baby makings not easy! sorry i talk so much.. hope i helped.

It can vary, it's your luteal phase that stays the same. Your luteal phase are the days between ovulation and your period, and for most women it's betwen 12-16 days. Mine is 12 days, and so I always knew my period was due 12 days after I ovulated, which I kept track of by BBT charting.

Last month I ovulated on day 18, and this month I ovulated on day 16. Sometimes stress can cause a delayed ovulation. I think it's a completely normal thing. Everybody's different...good luck!

I have regular periods and regular ovulation on CD 14 or 15 every month. So it helps me save on ovulation test sticks, you know? :)
Keep your fingers crossed that I was successful this month...
GOOD LUCK TO YOU!

I think you ovulate the same week every month. When I was trying to get pregnant, I used one of those ovulation kits and it always fell on the same week. If you haven't tried one of those kits yet, you should give it a try. I just used the cheap store brand one. It worked great and was accurate. Good luck.

no longer precisely the equal day. three - five days previous or later is o.k.. in case your interval very abnormal, do seek advice professional :) how do u rely whether or not is occurred the equal quantity of days?? it by and large final for three - four days (very heavy to slight go with the flow). the ones after little little spot i dont rely as in the course of that final few days, not more bleeding, it is simply the remainder blood that had but to be discharge.
