Homemade presents are the very best to receive. I bet she would appreciate you cleaning her house, making dinner and cleaning up after (making her favorite meal and paying for all the ingredients not already in the house), baking and decorating a cake, and then enjoying her special day with her.
You could decorate the house and make a special birthday banner to put up on the wall, too.

If you can write, create a poem just for her :)
My mother always tears up when she reads the poems I write for her.
Yes, they have to be mushy and lovey and corny.
Also, cooking and pampering her for a day would also please her very much so.
