Not to sound nosy or anything but where can I find the records to homes, stores, etc. in my city? I want to know how old my house and other places are and other info...

Some real estate records are on-line. The county tax commissioner may have posted real estate info including location, assessed value, and other info. Or try city hall.

In some cases there are internet places that a city shows permits and that might be a source of your research. Another is where counties list their assesment and or property records. You might want to try locating your city and or county's web site and go from there.

The records on homes are at the Assessors office, age, building size, dates of sales, price paid, ect. Most countys have them on line and its all public infromation.

Public files reside in the courthouse either by county or in the city.. They are public. You can go in and look at anything you want.
