I never did this, in fact I went to the bathroom right after because my doctor told me I should do that for sanitiary reasons. I got pregnant the first month of trying with my daughter and the 2nd month of trying with my current pregnancy. The stuff that leaks out would not have gotten you pregnant in the first place, the good stuff is shot way up there.

Well I was having trouble conceiving. I read on line about a bunch of things to try. Some advice was to stay laying after he "cums" in you, and also elevate your hips. You could put a pillow under your hips. I believe it worked for me because before that I was always getting up right after wards and going to the bathroom. So even though sperm is fast, I guess it needed more time with me lol!!! So I would lay with my hips under a pillow for ten mins. My fiance also did it just to make me more comfortable and so we could laugh about it. I also checked on line when I would be most fertile.
The next month I found out I was pregnant!!
But not elevating your hips is not "protection" from becoming pregnant!!

No it's not preventative but it does work if u r trying to get pregnant and r having little luck. Yes the sperm no where to go but if u have a tipped uterus then gravity could automatically make it harder for the little guys to get there considering there swimming against the direction your body is going. So yes essentially tipping your bottom up or turning your hips up like you're doing a bicycle kick and holding it there can help the little guys make there way up ta an egg.

Thats a farse. doctors tell women to do it when they cant conceive because it acts like a placebo effect which calms their nerves(because they think theyre doing something) which makes them get pregnant.
All the sperm you need to make a baby is shot through the cervix at the moment of ejaculation. You cannot make anymore go through. Tilting your pelvis doesnt make them go anywhere.

I'm trying it. I think it's one of those things that might not help but it can't hurt either. So I figured, why not? I felt kind of silly. But, I'll find out in a couple of weeks if it worked. And if not, maybe next cycle, I'll stand on my head, LOL!

I have been told that if you elevate your hips, the semen pools over your cervix... Making it easier to become pregnant.

it doesn't prevent you from getting pregnant but it does help. you will need to elevate both hips though. when my wife & i did the artificial insemination on me, i elevated my hips with 2 pillows, then she did the insemination.

YOu don't have to but it helps increase the chances, it help the swimmers get where they are going better. Why waste it. LOL I try and save as mush as I can in me.
