No you cannot! Anyone who tries to convince you otherwise is lying.
Here's how they are supposed to work according to the official people that claim it is completely true.
You ask it a question and then everyone there places their hands on the reader, and the combined forces of everybody, and spirits command an answer from the board.
Pardon the french, but that's bull.
It turns out the subconsciously after the mind looks at the board you remember where the letters are and since you can obviously form answers to the question in your head, you will be able to find appropriate letters, or the yes or no at the top.
It feels as though it is moving by itself because of the joined forces of everybodies hands. it actually takes very little effort to move it when other people's hands are also on it.
It's like the experiment where you have a light piece of pipe, about 10 feet long and have 16 people, 8 on each side, hold it up.
The object is to let the pipe drop, but it is hard because it inexplicably moves upwards.
This is because your finger wants to feel the pressure of the pipe on it, and as a result, you push up adding force to the pipe. Since everybody does this, the pipe moves up.
This is similar to the effect of the oiji board. Everybodies hands move towards a direction so it feels as though there are no muscles being used, when in fact there is.
As for answering questions, Penn and Teller did a demonstration of this.
They took a group of people and did yes and no questions that the group of people needed to ask the oiji board. Then they blindfolded them and asked them to do the same thing. What they didn't tell them was that they flipped the board upside down, so the yes and no, were at the opposite side of the table.
When the people did it, they moved the reader to where the yes and no were previously. This shows that there are no spirits working and just the people doing it.
Please do not let people take advantage over you or scare you with claims like this.

Do you mean an Ouija Board? If so, Yes, sooner or later the devil will try to possess as you summoned it.

I don't know for sure if the devil will take over but I will never touch one of those things!!! I think that it's evil to try and contact ghost. The chances that you would come across a good soul doesn't seem very likely, I think you would run into some troubled souls when you use them.

I easily have used a Ouiji board. they are toys. they do no longer easily artwork. quite some persons have self assurance that they actually do artwork. those all human beings is loopy. possibly it particularly is why your persons freaked out, because of the fact they suspect interior the Ouiji board.
