I take ortho tri cyclen lo, however 4 times this month (in the past 2 weeks of this pack) i have forgotten to take my pill, and take it when i remember, which is usually the next day during the late afternoon (i'm suppost to take them 10pm each night). anyway my bf and i dont use any other form of protection and he doesnt pull out, im wondering what my chances of pregnancy are? this is only the fourth month that i've been taking them. If Im on tri cyclen lo does that mean i have to be extremely careful about taking my pills at the same time, bc there are less hormones? The past couple of days, I've been feeling nauseated and turned off my certain things, obviously I know that it would be to soon to experience that, but i am concerned that i may be pregnant.

Thanks for your responses. I should also add, that I take remeron as well for anxiety. My doctor did not mention this interferring with BCP, is it possible that it could? As well as I was sick with the flu for a couple of days and taking cough medication. I know there are alot of questions on this site about this, so i dont meant to be asking the same things.

Well At the end of March this year, I went on a cruise for a week, and forget to take my pill a few times, and then the middle of April, I got a positive HPT!

Dear Friend, With or without birth control, it is likely that someone will eventually become pregnant or get a disease if unmarried people tempt themselves by being alone with one another. Also, taking birth control pills late has the possibility of harming a baby if you are pregnant. Get some information and support at a pregnancy resource center, which you cand find by googling optionline, or call 1800afamily. Take good care of your baby if you are pregnant. Sincerely, Runner

the pill is only 93% effective by use. And for this very reason.

Plenty of women get pregnant on the pill when taking it correctly, even more get pregnant when they dont take it right.

Babies are not hard to avoid. If you really dont want them double up on your protection. Even a simple spermicide added to the mix can help more than just the pill alone.

Yes, you can fall pregnant on the pill if you miss them as you have done. You can also fall pregnant on the pill if you take antibiotics or have diarrhea. You could very well be pregnant. Please go and be tested right away - because if you are you need to stop taking TriCylen.
