I'm Thinking of Being a Dark Fairy For Halloween So I was wondering if someone out there could piece toghether a costume for me (use links please) but I don't want to used an allready made one because then it woun't be origional. It can't cost more than 150$ and my mom says i can't be slutty. Yes she acully said those exact words. Also I was hoping the shirt could be long sleeve because it might be cold. Halloween USA usually has a good selection of fairy wings. What about ballet flats (I'd say heels if you weren't going to be walking around trick or treating), fishnets, a skirt (not too short, about mid-thigh or longer), and a tunic-style shirt with sleeves that get wider at the wrist (you can probably find one at Goodwill). Lots of glitter around your eyes, dark eyeliner, and temporary dark hair dye.

Why not go to Wal-Mart look in the pattern section. Look at Ballet costumes, make it with black sparkly tulle which is totally different. Then your Mom can Jazz it up as she sees fit, add some black wings, a rhinestone crown & wand. Don't forget the shoes.
Simple & easy.
And your Mom can do it the way she wants.
