I feel and poke at my tummy a lot (not too hard) and can sometimes move the baby over a ways. I am 34 wks prego and was just wondering if it could hurt her in anyway? Also can she feel when i rub my tummy and put vit. E and lotion on, she seems to move around a lot then?

I don't think you could hurt her, but I would advise to more pat on your belly rather than poke at it.
My baby used to kick my cat when he'd nap on my belly, he couldn't stand anything to touch his feet. He even kicked the sewing loom if I rested it on my belly. Maybe your baby doesn't like the poking, so she moves away from it.

babies move more when they feel something warm. When you put lotion on, the rubbing creates friction and warmth, so she moves. I don't think that you will hurt her because she is protected by the uterus and your belly but be very gentle when you try to move her.

the baby learns affection before it's even born! so by rubbing your tummy she feels comforted by it...she's letting you know by moving! as for poking at her, she'll be fine.

Yes they can tell you're touching your belly. No it wont hurt them, but too much prodding can cause contractions.

No...because you're just feeling her and since you're not doing it hard, she might even enjoy it
