I feel the same way a lot when I first wake up... it's usually because I didn't sleep well. and by that I mean I over slept, under slept, or tossed and turned all night for one reason or another... I never really go to bed with a true peace of mind... so I rarely if ever sleep well : (

no but a lack of not enough sleep or stroke can do this to ya. i know i have done this before, when faced with family emergencies and sick children. also just busy doing something and not getting the sleep my body needed. or when my husband has been drinking and wants to talk, talk etc... all night long. good luck and best of wishes.

8 hours of sleep is supposed to make all of us feel better, but I rarely sleep that much!!!
You should have brushed your teeth before you went to sleep!
It takes the body a while to wake up properly.
You probably slept too long in one position.
I don't know anyone who wakes up from a sound sleep feeling totally refreshed.
Our brains stay busy at night (dreaming).
You will feel better after your shower and a cup of coffee or tea!!
Good luck and may God bless you.

If you are having seemingly unrelated problems (vision, back pain, etc.) on the same side of your body and cannot speak properly, you may have had a stroke. Get to an emergency room now.

GET A CARBON MONOXIDE DETECTOR FOR YOUR HOME and start eating only veggies and drinking water before bed....i dont know if you are a morning shower person, but consider showers and brushing your teeth at night. One last piece of advice, get enough sleep but DONT over sleep.

Sleep is extremely important. And when you don't get enough of it .It could do all sorts of things to your body.Lets take this for example your tired and trying to drive a car.your a impaired driver. and you could cause an accident. Lack of sleep affects your sense of judgment.and your ability to react etc.And it also makes you moody, grouchy unpleasant you get my drift. It affects a array of different things.

Unless this is just temporary because you have laid awkwardly, I suggest you seek medical help. Almost as if you had a mild stroke.

When you wake up relax a bit with your eyes open then get up. Don't get up all of the sudden because that's what makes you feel like that.

Then you must be sick, poor baby! Go to the doctor and get some more rest. Sleep should be a time for the body to rejuvinate.
