This month was my first round of clomid too, I took 50mg once a day starting on the 4th and ending it on the 8th and today is day 16 of my cycle so if you are two days a head of me then today should be day 18 of your cycle,I'm having the same cramping but my comes and goes and some are a little painful and some aren't, yesterday was my first day of ovulation,I think the cramps are both, ovulation and a side effect from the clomid cause the clomid makes you ovulate better so when you ovulate your having more cramps cause your producing/releasing more eggs I guess, buy one of those ovulation kits to see if your ovulating cause it sounds like to me you are but do a test to make sure and if your pain is so bad that you can't handle it you should call the hospital or go to the ER or if there is a way for you to get a hold of your doctor call him/her to make sure everything is OK.BD means Baby Dancing and that means Baby making sex, my doctor told me that on the first day of ovulation is when we should start BD once every other day up til the day I stop ovulating but we started 6 days before ovulation cause 4days before ovulation is suppose to be your fertile days so we wanted to make sure we cover the fertile days and ovulation days to increase our chances. Our doctor told us BD once every other day cause doing it more then that can decrease your husband sperm count and if your husband already has a low sperm count that this is the best way to do it cause it gives him time in between days to build his boys back up.Best of luck to you,and lots of baby dust your way!!!

probably means your ovulating I took clomid cycle days 5-9 then I ovulated on day 18 (use a digital OPK to be sure) cramping during ovulation is normal. And many women with PCOS have cramping during ovulation. Also clomid gives you many eggs I had an ultrasound and they saw I had 6 eggs 3 on each side so clomid makes you ovulate more than once in a cycle usually around the same time though. I got preg. when used clomid for the 1st time ( after a year on my own and 3 miscarriages) I'm 30 weeks along now with a healthy baby boy! I sure hope you have luck this time. I don't think th cramping is a side effect of the pill because side effects usually happen around the time you take the medication not usually a week or so later.

I too am taking clomid. I am currently waiting to see if it worked. Cramping can be a major side effect of Clomid as well as ovulation. I had some cramping around ovulation time. Are you charting or using ovulation prediction kits to help determine ovulation? If not you really need to do this to determine if the Clomid is helping you ovulate. BD equals baby dancing(sex). I ovulated around day 19 this cycle (didn't ovulate last cycle with Clomid) so you are probably ovulating. So start the BD. Oh if the cramps are severe and don't go away contact your doctor asap because Clomid can overstimulate your ovaries and cause swelling as well as cysts. Best of luck

I can't explain the pulling your feeling, but the cramping is a side effect of the clomid, and your ovulating Im sure if you took an OPK it would be positive. Hope your making the most of it. Remember don't BD too often no more than over 36 hours.

Im on clomid and have suffered with bad tummy cramps, a lot of the symptoms whilst taking Clomid are pregnancy symptoms.
I fell pregnant on the 2nd month of taking clomid but miscarried so Im waiting to take clomid again. It also made me very moody and emotional. The second month I was on clomid I took it before I went to bed and not only did I fall pregnant I didnt suffer with tummy cramps not sure if made a difference but its worth a ago.
Good luck x

BD means baby dance ~ sex. =)
I take clomid as well. I usually get this same feeling for a few days it last while I'm ovulating. I feel very very bloated down there.
Make sure you make the most of it and BD. =)
