depending on year...most have the code # on the outside of the computer module that controls it. forgot the name of the module, sorry. they are either found under the dash, or in the drivers side rear of the vehicle where the jack and tools were stored. some owners/dealerships placed stickers in the hatch area usually in an inconspicuous area, 5 digits long.
worst case scenario you can go to a dealership and they can retrieve it from the puters info....

you can go to a dealer with the car and the serial number and they can get it for you,they can use the vehicle vin-number to do this with,it may also be written down somewhere in the owners manual also, some people did write these down,and sometime the dealers did this before you took the car from the lot,good luck on it.

nicely i come from a family members of fords and we've an extremely good courting with between the ford sellers out right here..... while my dad and that i offered some autos from an auction..... mine did no longer contain a automatic door lock...(you recognize those issues that come on key chains) and his did no longer contain one the two plus they did no longer provide him the code for the main much less get admission to pad... we took the autos to the ford broker and that they fastened the two our issues..... attempt calling first and then going.... ought to help
