Do you think we should start to try new supplies?

Actually we are starting to try other methods. There was this Filipino inventor who devised the water-powered car a few years back. Then there are the electric cars by the Japanese. And with regards to fossil fuels the last time I checked it was 50 years. Yes, we only have 50 years until oil runs out. So better go electric :)

Fossil fuels will certainly not last much longer, though there is probably more coal than oil. It is believed that much of the current oil supply will run out within the next 100 years or less. If the environmental organizations allow it, then there is more oil up in Alaska, but it is in protect wilderness, so there is no chance to get it.
