Do you see evil as an entity or as a seed that was planted in us at birth?

For me life isn't black and white and itsn't good nor evil. Of course, there are people who commit overtly evil acts but not in everyone's everyday life.
These things are all part of the balance of life. It is neither an entity or a seed, it is simply energy. Our lives are defined as to the decisions we make.
I don't usually quote but two popped into my mind. The first is from Goodkind's Blood of the Fold:
"I too have uncontrollable urges. However, with the blessing of the Creator I haven't actually strangled anyone yet."
And Annette Benning's character in The Seige:
"It's easy to tell right from wrong. The hard part is choosing the wrong that's more right."

I believe that EVIL is within us and We, the humans make it abrupt within us.....
EVIL wouldn't exist if a person hadn't taken revenge or whatever might had happen...
I also agree with a balance between GOOD & EVil and the balance b/W HEll and HEAVEN...
It's fasinatiing learning about the the divine forces of the UNiverise....
There's a book that explains everything...
The books name is long and i can't recall it rite now....sorry..

I was always taught that we are all born with good and evil tendencies at birth but is not till later that we can decide which tendencies we choose to suppress or enhance as the case may be. I do also believe that evil is around us at all times and you can either welcome it or refuse it.

Sorry to break it to ya, but we all have some kind of evil in us. Without it, we would be perfect little angels, no fights, always being good... now THAT would stink! Without a little bit of bad in the world, the world would go crazy!! Thank you.

evil cannot prosper without a host. sp htat means that evil is external, and must be let in. for those christians out there: if we were created in the image of God, how could the devil make us evil before we can choose it?

everyone is human and may get some salt of evil at one point but that is from around us some people are mentaly evil and it comes from within them

I believe everyone has evil in them inserted by satan but only us a humans and faithful sevants of god can bring the evil out

evil is with in us.....we choose to accept it or deny it. Evil and good come in different ways to each person. Its the free will we were given....god did not put this in us.

When you perceive something as evil, where has the evil arisen? Evil is to LIVE backwards.
