I like the way you worded the choices, for I know of some liberal republicans, and have voted for conservative democrats.
I will vote conservative, regardless of party, based on their record, not their words. This means I definitely will not vote for Hillary Clinton, because there are too many things in her past that tells me she is no conservative, or even has conservative values.

I vote person, not party or even ideology.

There are good Democrats, Republicans, conservatives and liberals and some of them are even worth voting for; likewise, there are people on all sides of the political spectrum who are not worth voting for.

My conscious

I would hope that no American would vote conservative or liberal as a knee jerk re-action. Democracy only works when we vote based on informed decision not on ridiculous labels designed to divide not unite

Vote how your conscience tells you.

But to people who feel that voting conservative is voting with God, I say:

Jesus Christ stood for the welfare of the poor, for the equality of all, and the love of each and every person. Today we would call him a liberal.

Conservative! Liberal is far to scary. I enjoy the individual freedom of choice which the Liberals promise to take away. I like free enterprise, capitalism, low taxes, self-respect and all the positives that the Liberals would take from all of us. I love my country but fear Liberalism!

Er, my conscious tells me NOT to vote for Hillary, Obama, or Edwards. I guess that means I will be voting conservative as far as the presidential election goes.

Thomas G, are you going to tell me that my conscious is reacting in a knee jerk fashion? Isn't that what really jolts one awake as to who or what they believe in? Isn't a knee jerk an instinctive reaction to danger?
