a colleagues called and said, i cant come today because my little sis is died and forgot that his lil sis works with us.

I had a guy call off work because he had gotten a genital piercing the night before, another guy couldn't stay because his underwear was too tight, and another guy said that his car was broken down, only had two hundred miles left on the warranty and had to get it fixed that day. I told him, "If it's broken down, then you're not gaining any mileage." He said he still didn't have a way in.

One guy called work and said "I just sat down to a $200 dinner and am NOT coming in tonight. I'm going to enjoy my food".
We're allowed 3 short-notice days off without pay per year. That's what he took.

drunk n/a called ward to say she couldnt come to work because she had diahorrea, whilst on phone gave graphic description of being on the toilet! she was totally hammered!!
