multiply the entire equation by 5x
150x = 80x + 1
subtract 80x from both sides to get:
70x = 1
divide both sides by 70 to get:
x = 1/70

First, 16/1 is just 16, so it's easy enough to move it over to the other side of the equation:

30-16 = 14
14 = 1/5 x
14(5) = 1/5 x(5)
70 = x
x = 70

After looking at other answers, I saw there are two ways to read what your equation is. Maybe you could tell us if the "x" was intended to be equivalent to .2x (part of the numerator, one fifth of x) or part of the denominator (on the bottom, "one over 5x"). There are going to be two different answers to the equation depending on how you meant this to read.

First: eliminate fractions - multiply the greatest common denominator (5x) with each term.

5x(30) = 5x(16/1) + 5x(1/5x)

SEc: cross cancel the same terms; combine the rest.

5x(30) = 5x(16) + 1
150x = 80x + 1

Third: combine "like " terms - subtract 80x from both sides (when you move a term to the opposite side, always use the opposite sign).

150x -80x = 80x -80x + 1
150x -80x = 1
70x = 1 (divide both sides by 70)
70x/70 = 1/70
x = 1/70

30 =16/1 +(1/5x)
or 30*5x=16*5x+1
or 150x-80x=1
or 70x =1
or x=1/70 ans
But if you mean 30=16/1+(1/5)x
then 30*5=16*5+x
or x=150-80=70 ans
