Or, do they get arrested for assault afterward whenever they fight on the show?

Are the fights "staged?"

Co worker of my sister who lives in Ft. Worth, Tx was on the show some years ago with a cousin and friend. Got a week at the Plaza w/all expenses paid...producer of show not only encouraged them to cuss and fight, but promised them so much money per cuss word and per each slap, etc. Totally staged BS...they partied in NY after the show the best of friends as they always have been.

Staged. I once saw a episode of Entertainment Tonight where they were showing what goes on back stage on the Jerry's show. The producers were telling the guests on the take crap from the other person and encouraging him or her to be more out there on the show. So it is kind of staged like when u hear of a lawyer or proscuter telling the witness what to say.

Yep. They are all staged and encouraged to fight and cuss. They also sign extensive contract that states they will not press charges and that the show ais not liable for any injuries that may take place. I've heard that these contract are iron clad, so much so that a person could lose a limb and still couldn't sue

Yes, they sure are staged and encouraged to beat each other to the pulse while the Security Guards ''pretend'' to stop the fights. It's all one big charade.

I don't know it for a fact, but I've heard the show encourages them to fight. They may also be paid more if fighting results in partial nudity.

It's all staged. I know some idiot who wanted to be on that show so badly that he contacted them. They called him and booked him on one of their shows. He said they gave him a script and told him how to act and what to say.
