I dont know how you only recieved 9 points, but "she" The questioner can not give you stars.....You cant even get stars when you answer someones questions....You can get thumbs up,which you get one point each for thoose.Check on your activity summary and see if you recived 10 points or only 9:) AND the people on here that are saying you lost one point because someone reported you, you loose 10 not one:)

Maybe that is a new strategy that Yahoo is trying but hasn't got around to telling us yet. Maybe you not only get thumbs up points added but also thumbs down subtracted. Now that will be a nasty surprise.
An alternative is maybe a hacker is skimming off points to add to their totals.

cuz, they gave u 10 points for your answer but then some1 reported u so u got 1 point deducted from the 10 points u were supposed to have...:)

i dont know usually you get 5 points for a best answer, but occasionally i'll sign onto yahoo answers and it says i just recieved 15 points.....im like for what??? lol

I think it depends sometimes on the rating given by the asker. I have a feeling that u will make this a best answer, wont you? wink wink.
