If you're over the age of 7 a therapist is required to get your permission prior to any experimentation--unless such an uninformed experiment is mandated by law.

I would be angry, because my rights as a patient and as a human being had been violated. I would report this as a breach of ethics. If the psychologist is a member of the APA a breach of ethics can be reported at their website.

I don't know what you mean exactly. I would not like to be treated like a guinea pig because I am human and don't like to live in wood shavings. But if you mean experimented on, I have and I am and we all are. We live in a huge politico-economic experiment in which we are treated as pieces on a Monopoly board, told to jump through hoops to get what we want. Show me the difference between life and an experiment! Those are only divisions we make to categorize life.

I guess the question I would ask is how has it harmed me? Are they poking you with needles, giving you a bad reputation by using your name, etc. If nothing was done to harm you, no harm, no foul. I would just forget about it and move on.

Unhappy, angry...Most likely illegal, or at best unethical.
